About PopHausNYC
One wild idea, one abandoned catering kitchen, and a lot of paint later…
PopHausNYC was born in 2013 when Ronnie looked at a sad, forgotten catering space in Hudson Square and saw something else entirely—a launchpad for creativity, a playground for bold ideas, and a place where humans (remember them?) could come together and make things happen.
Since then, the space has hosted everything from global brands to grassroots heroes. We’re talking BTS-level buzz, Saturday Night Live-level production, and not-for-profits doing world-changing work for foster moms, women artists, and even the pups (shoutout to our dog adoption events!). Whether it's a trunk show, a fashion pop-up, a fundraiser, or a film crew needing a chill holding space—we say: bring it.
Who we are
Today, PopHausNYC is co-run by partners in both life and business: Ronnie Peters and Adama Sesay.
Ronnie, originally from New Zealand (yes, the accent is real), landed in the U.S. to earn a Master’s at RISD before becoming a full-time creative powerhouse. His design work has touched everything from the hyperloop and Mach 5 aircraft, to genome mapping, nuclear energy, and even pet science. Clients have included Apple, Amazon, Disney, HULU, and MIT Media Lab.
Adama brings both visionary and practical magic to the mix. She is a professional astrologer, author, and founder of Lilith Astrology, a global platform empowering women, people of color, and anyone seeking to harness cosmic wisdom for real-world transformation. She is also a seasoned marketing executive with 15 years of strategy and consulting experience in the beauty, fashion, and lifestyle industries—working with powerhouse brands such as L’Oréal, RéVive Skincare, and Ouidad – The Curl Experts. Her work and voice have been featured in Cosmopolitan, Refinery29, Well+Good, and more.
Together, Ronnie and Adama bring a unique blend of design innovation, strategic consulting, creative vision, and cultural insight to PopHausNYC. And then, of course, there’s Freddie—our Brussels Griffon mascot and occasional floor manager, who believes he’s the real CEO (he may be right).
Basically? We built this space for people like you. Let’s talk about what you’re dreaming up—and how we can help you make it unforgettable.
