About PopHausNYC

One wild idea, one abandoned catering kitchen, and a lot of paint later...

PopHausNYC was born in 2013 when Ronnie looked at a sad, forgotten catering space in Hudson Square and saw something else entirely—a launchpad for creativity, a playground for bold ideas, and a place where humans (remember them?) could come together and make things happen.

Since then, the space has hosted everything from global brands to grassroots heroes. We’re talking BTS-level buzz, Saturday Night Live-level production, and not-for-profits doing world-changing work for foster moms, women artists, and even the pups (shoutout to our dog adoption events!). Whether it's a trunk show, a fashion pop-up, a fundraiser, or a film crew needing a chill holding space—we say: bring it.

Ronnie, our founder, hails from New Zealand (yes, he has the accent) and landed in the U.S. to earn a Master’s at RISD before becoming a full-time creative powerhouse. He’s designed for the hyperloop, a Mach 5 aircraft, genome mapping projects, nuclear energy, and pet science (because balance). Clients have included Apple, Amazon, Disney, HULU, MIT Media Lab, and about a dozen other dream collabs.

PopHausNYC is now lovingly co-run by Ronnie and his partner Adama, with the real boss being Freddie—a tiny Brussels Griffon with big ideas and even bigger eyebrows. He’s our official mascot and occasional floor manager.

Basically? We built this space for people like you. Let’s talk about what you’re dreaming up—and how we can help you make it unforgettable.

Let me know if you want a shorter version or something even more tongue-in-cheek!
